That was a beautiful Father's Day song! I have two daughters and a son. Sadly, I wasn't part of their lives. Not by my choice, by a woman that was a bubble angle shy of a level level... She got custody even with numerous psychiatric hospital holds. That they are out there and a hope and a prayer they come forward.
Did you enjoy talking with your dad and were you close to him? My dad was close to my four sisters and of course my brother and me. I still miss both my parents, both died within four months of each other in 2007.
What is the earliest memory of your father? What memory of him do you cherish the most?
I know - it is such a beautiful song. I cried when I first listened to it.
I am very close to my dad now. I was the black sheep growing up and I kind of deserved some of it. My dad has always been there for me - no matter what. I was in the hospital in California with double pneumonia years ago and my parents flew down to be with me. That always amazed me that they did that.
