"We often learn the most from our children. Some time ago, a friend of mine punished his 3-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of gold wrapping paper.Have a wonderful weekend my friends.
Money was tight, and he became infuriated when the child tried to decorate a box to put under the tree.
Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift to her father the next morning and said, "This is for you, Daddy." He was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared again when he found that the box was empty.
He yelled at her, "Don't you know that when you give someone a present, there's supposed to be something inside of it?"
The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said, "Oh, Daddy, it's not empty. I blew kisses into the box. All for you, Daddy."
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little girl, and he begged her forgiveness. My friend told me that he kept that gold box by his bed for years. Whenever he was discouraged, he would take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.
In a very real sense, each of us as parents has been given a gold container filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children.
There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.

The world is full of little boxes filled with butterfly kisses if we would but look with the eyes of Christ deep into the hearts of God's children (young and old) all over the world. But we often allow the cares of this world to cloud our vision and therefore miss the thousands of blessings our heavenly Father has scattered along the paths on which we walk. Oh, the joy that would fill our hearts every day, if we could put off those nasty obstacles lodged in our minds...fear, insecurity, anger, bitterness, jealousy, resentment, prejudice, coveteousness, greed, pride, etc.
I had an experience with the Lord in which I walked this earth in perfect love for a few days. People of God, this world is truly a paradise, even today, if one can see with the eyes of His faith. Butterfly kisses around every corner of our walk sent from above from a Father who loves His children with more love than they are able to carry in their little mortal bodies.
Let us pray for perfect vision. Let us beg the Father of lights to be healed forever of those diseases which hinder our God-given vision that we may capture more and more of those butterfly kisses. I believe that the more we are able to capture these butterfly kisses the more the world will see Christ in us and that will set the world on a course of healing.
Let us today purpose in our hearts to give up a few more of those things which cloud our vision. Ask Him, even today to show you a box full of butterfly kisses. Ask Him to heal your eyes that you might not miss the ones He has planned for your tomorrows. It is time we, Children of the Most High, behold the Glory of our Heavenly Father. This world IS filled with His glory even this day...if we are able to see with the eyes of faith, the eyes of our Lord, Savior, and King...King Jesus." --Gary Amirault
