A Little Sanctuary

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. Eze 11:16
When the children of Israel were scattered to all the countries around them, the Lord promised that He would be a little sanctuary for them to come and be able to find rest.

The Merrium-Webster online dictionary defines the word sanctuary as a consecrated place or a place of refuge and protection.

Today – the Lord is still that place of refuge. He is our sanctuary and we have no reason to be afraid of the storms and giants of this world. We can rest in His protection.

Blessings in Christ

You will not believe this, Well I am sure you will.

I found your blog some months ago and enjoyed reading it because I also am on the same journey. The Lord told me to quit my job some 5 years ago and I have been living off of faith as well. It has not been easy, it has been very hard many days, but I've learned things I would have never learned any other way. I plan to blog more about those things as I am lead.

Yesterday, I was thinking about your blog and said, "Lord, I sure wish I could remember her name and blog name". I would have never thought today I would check my email and see that 'you' ( the one I was just asking the Lord about yesterday ) would be the one to first reply to one of my posts.

I am really cracking up with laughter here, I tell you I needed to see this little miracle right now. Earlier, I was really in a funk and going through another phase of 'I'm tired God, etc'.

What are the odds that it would be 'you' to even be the first to reply to my post. God works in mysterious ways my sister, I am so glad to have found your blog again and this encouraging word for today.

Thank you sis,

Alicia
