This morning as I was reading Hebrews, a couple verses really struck me. I can't rewrite all of Hebrews 12 and 13 here so please read them so you can understand the context of what I am talking about.
The context of Hebrews 12 is from back when the glory of God appeared on Mt. Sinai the Isrealites told Moses that they could not bear to hear from the Lord because they could not endure it, and even Moses said that he exceedingly feared and quaked. In contrast we are on Mt Zion, seated in the heavenlies with God and Jesus and the angels. Then it reads:
See that ye refuse not him (Jesus) that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:Jesus warned about shaking in the last days and earthquakes in diverse places, he also said, not to be troubled that those things were just the beginning of sorrows. The shaking of the earth is not to trouble you so much as the shaking of heaven.
Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven
And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:26-29
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:His elect will be saved from heaven when the shaking of heaven occurs. Because the Lord has promised a new HEAVEN and a new earth. Those who refuse Jesus Christ and who turn away from Him will NOT be in the elect.
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Matthew 24:29-31
Notice Paul uses the word "we" in this context. The beginning of the book of Hebrews says, "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners SPAKE in time past unto the fathers by the prophets. Hath in these last days SPOKEN unto US by HIS SON, whom he hath appointed heir of all things..." This book is addressed to the believers, so now is the time to make your election sure.
"Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:" 2 Peter 1:10. The things Peter was referring to is listed in 2 Peter 1, but like it said in Hebrews 12, we should have grace to serve God with reverence and fear.
Now is a time to live for God with every fiber of your being. Love God. Appreciate God and His amazing grace and mercy towards us, in giving us life and the free gift of salvation through His son Jesus Christ.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your mercy, your abundant grace to us, and your amazing voice that shakes the heavens and the earth. I lift up to you all the people doing the 21-day fast, that you reveal yourself to them and strengthen them. In the name of Jesus Christ, the Word of God. Amen.

Let the onslaught begin...but no weapon formed against us shall prosper and Jesus has declared that He has given us power and authority over the enemy.
AMEN!!!
