Flee Fornication


(Wow, no aliens today? Hhmmm… heh heh)
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Cor 6:9-20
When I was in the cult called the Way International, I took a class they offered called Christian Family and Sex. One of the things they taught in that class was that masturbation was a legitimate practice in order to avoid fornication. All us single people wanted to know the answer to the age old question, is masturbation a sin? In that class they taught that the bible does not specifically forbid the practice of masturbation, because the word masturbation is not in the bible. Well that is true because the word masterbation comes from a Latin word that means to defile by the hand. (I got that from the Masturbation Wikipedia page – but don’t go there, they have pictures.)
For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD.

Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart.

My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God. Hosea 4:10-12
Most of the time baby Christians can’t get the answer to this question because no-one wants to touch this subject with a ten foot pole. Even me!

Although masturbation is not singled out, it is lumped together within the word fornication. Masturbation takes place in the mind – the spiritual battlefield. If you think you are alone in the house and want to engage in this behavior, think again. You are surrounded by demons who are egging you on, encouraging you and getting off with you. Masturbation is a satanic ritual. It’s not just looking at dirty pictures and porn that is bad, it is what you are doing while you are looking at them. When you are engaging in this activity it is self-gratification and flesh-worship and takes your mind off of the Lord and onto your self.
Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:27-28
The time is coming when he who is filthy will be filthy still. The battle lines are being drawn and our minds have to be pure and clean and we have to be 100% sold out to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ or we will take the mark of the beast. No fleshly activity can be more important than Him.
Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. 1 Cor 10:6-15
The Lord will make a way to escape if you are tempted in this category. The bible does have the solution:
Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment. For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. 1 Cor 7:1-9
If you are single and cannot contain – to avoid fornication you should marry. If you are married, you should not be withholding sex unless it is agreed to by both parties for prayer and fasting. Otherwise Satan will be tempting you to masturbate! Which is fornication. Sex is supposed to be giving to your spouse, but when it is done outside the will of the Lord, it is always taking and you have two people who are mutually self-gratifying.

This is a huge subject and there may be special circumstances for your situation, and our world is saturated with temptations every way you turn. Prayerfully consider the things written here and seek the Lord for your individual situation. The Lord can completely deliver any situation or bring a wife or husband to you.

Thank you Heavenly Father, that you can deliver us from all evil. Thank you for always making a way to escape when we are tempted in fleshy things and can bring our flesh under subjection. Thank you for your Mercy and Peace and Sanctification in our lives as you perfect us. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

As I read this the holy spirit spoke and confirmed this within my spirit. This is a teaching that a lot of people including Christians need to receive. But it can only come through revelation from the spirit of God. God bless you.
