Liberty

Liberty. Everyone is talking about it these days. Liberty is freedom. Those of us who grew up here in the United States of America have a skewed idea of what liberty is. All our lives we are told that we have life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness guaranteed as rights within the Constitution and Bill of Rights. We are told we live in a "free" country. Maybe we were a free country once upon a time, but we aren't any longer. People who thought they "owned" a house have to keep paying for it long after it has been paid off in the form of taxes. After you have worked 40 hours and 20 hours of overtime, when you get your paycheck a third of it has been stolen before you even get to cash that check. If you own a car you can't drive it unless you have paid for registration, licencing and fees, not to mention monthly insurance premiums.

We have the "freedom" to pay FICA taxes, Medicare and Social Security before we get our checks, then afterwards we can pay our rent, electricity, water, sewer, garbage, car insurance, phone bill, cable bill (unless we are smart and throw our tv's out the window!), put gas in the car, buy some groceries, and then sit and wait another two weeks for some more money, because that check is gone. We have the freedom to drink some beer and watch the game and wonder why it is all so hopeless in this evil satanic realm where bondage is called liberty. If you are really in the know, you are aware of the fact that our government has sold the american people to the federal reserve and we are truly slaves of that system, where every dollar we earn is not real money but just more debt. Whatever it is, what the world has to offer, it is not liberty.

There is only one who can give us TRUE liberty. That is Christ.

Read Galations 5. The Galations were being hounded to be circumcised by the religious Jews. But you could practically replace the word circumcision with [whatever legal thing you want] and the truth would still apply. Paul told them, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." Gal 5:1 and again, "I would they (those that were pushing the law (circumcision) on the Galations) were even cut off which trouble you, For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh (as in don't use your freedom in Christ as an excuse to sin) but by love serve on another. For all the law is fulfilled in ONE WORD, even in this - Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." Gal 5:12-14

We are not under the law. Christ came to fulfill the law and now we are at liberty. We are set free from the bondage of sin and the bondage of the law. If you still have bondage in your life and you are a born again believer, seek the Lord for deliverance and answers. If you are in a ministry or church that tries to put you under laws of holy days and styles of dress or you can't eat meat etc., then you are not living the life of liberty that you have been given in Christ. If you are not saved yet, Jesus Christ died for you too and the free gift of salvation is available to you. Get a bible and start reading the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and seek the Father and He will answer you. If you need help, you can email me at wendyworn@yahoo.com and I can help direct you to some online ministries that walk by the Spirit of God that can help.

Jesus Christ said that He came to set the captives free. He also said that He was the way the truth and the life. That we could know the Truth and the Truth can set us free. That is the only true liberty. Now is the time to seek the Lord and Now is the time to repent and turn from your sins and be washed with the water of the Word. We are entering very dark days in this country and any so-called liberties you may have thought you had before will be gone. The only safe place to be (even now) will be under the protection of our Heavenly Father and Our savior Jesus Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father. Thank you for true liberty in your son Jesus Christ - who died for us so that we could be free. Thank you for your protections and provisions during tribulations. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Marriage is not for everyone, and I wish "everyone" else would learn that! It is because "everyone" thinks "everyone" has to be married that so many marriages fail.
