Our Mighty Lord!

It has been so hot the last week. Not just outside, but spiritually, attacks have been coming on all sides. The Lord is ever faithful to save us out of all our distresses.
Job 5:8 I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:
Job 5:9 Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:
Job 5:10 Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields:
Job 5:11 To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.
Job 5:12 He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform [their] enterprise.
Job 5:13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.
Job 5:14 They meet with darkness in the daytime, and grope in the noonday as in the night.
Job 5:15 But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.

I still have no internet access except for the library. I will try to post this weekend but not sure if I will have an opportunity or not.

We interupt this heat wave for the following news - just FYI

Military to help FEMA with swine flu vaccinations:
(call me paranoid if you want, but here is the text of article - just in case it disappears from the net. Sometimes they do that):

Military Poised to Help FEMA Battle Swine Flu Outbreak
The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices voted to set vaccination priorities for certain groups Wednesday during a meeting in Atlanta as the Pentagon prepares to help the Federal Emergency Management Agency tackle a potential outbreak of the H1N1 virus this fall. The Pentagon is preparing to make troops available if necessary to help the Federal Emergency Management Agency tackle a potential outbreak of the H1N1 virus this fall, FOX News has confirmed.

This comes as a government panel recommends certain groups be placed at the front of the line for swine flu vaccinations this fall, including pregnant women, health care workers and children six months and older.

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices panel also said those first vaccinated should include parents and other caregivers of infants; non-elderly adults who have high-risk medical conditions, and young adults ages 19 to 24. The panel, whose recommendations typically are adopted by federal health officials, voted to set vaccination priorities for those groups Wednesday during a meeting in Atlanta.

Obama administration officials told Congress that H1N1 vaccinations won't be available for several months.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates is preparing to sign an order authorizing the military to set up five regional teams to deal with the potential outbreak of H1N1 influenza if FEMA requests help.

A senior U.S. defense official told FOX News that the plan calls for military task forces to work in conjunction with the FEMA. No final decision has been reached on how the military effort would be manned, but one source said it likely would include personnel from all branches of the military.

It is not known how many troops would be needed and whether they would come from the active duty or the National Guard and Reserve forces.

In the event of a major outbreak, civilian authorities would lead any relief efforts, the official said. The military, as it would for a natural disaster or other significant emergency situation, could provide support and fulfill any tasks that civilian authorities could not, such as air transport or testing of large numbers of viral samples from infected patients.

As a first step, military leaders have asked Gates to authorize planning for the potential assistance.

Orders to deploy actual forces would be reviewed later, depending on how much of a health threat the flu poses this fall, the officials said.

I don't have internet access at the place I am staying so will try to get online to post when I can, but I have to drive to the public library in order to post so I will try.

Sojourne continues...

Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were all called to be sojourners. The word sojourne implies a temporary dwelling place, even if it is in one place for a long time. David wrote:
Psa 39:12 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I [am] a stranger with thee, [and] a sojourner, as all my fathers [were].
Psa 39:13 O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more.

Jesus said: Foxes have holes and birds have nests but the Son of Man has not where to lay his head (Luke 9:58). He also said My kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36).
I believe the Lord calls all his children to be sojourners, for this life is a test of eternity and all the children are called into the wilderness at times of testing and trials. The longer I am on this journey, the more the Lord teaches me. This journey is not just for now, but is for life. There will not be a time when the journey is over, because this is about walking in the will of the Father, for the rest of my life. I would rather be a sojourner in the wilderness and be walking in the will of the Father, than in a beautiful palace somewhere outside of His will. It is time to go out on the road again, to see what the Lord will show me next. I can't wait!

Be still...

Psa 46:10 Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Psa 46:11 The LORD of hosts [is] with us; the God of Jacob [is] our refuge. Selah.

Things are very quiet here. Strangely quiet with no instructions on what to do or where to go next. So I occupy and watch and pray. I have been studying during all my free time. I have also been listening to some teachings that are from men I believe have the spirit of God in them. One is Pastor David J. Meyer. This is an old teaching of his, yet very timely. It is called "The power of holy silence"

(You may have to allow the media player extension in order to play this, see if there is a bar in the window)

More of his audio teachings are here, or here.

Another good source of audio and video teachings is from David Eels located at Unleavened Bread Ministries here.

Repent, and seek the Lord while there is still time.

Look Ma! No Chemtrails!

The sky is surprisingly clear today. So is my schedule. If you think a day without a chemtrail is unusual, this is a picture of yesterday's sky. (taken when I was taking pictures of ghost town malls.)

I am studying today. A very meaty website is from J. Preston Eby called:

Kingdom Bible Studies

I have read his series on Revelation, the Antichrist and Eden, but today I started reading about "the Lord's Prayer" wow. There is so much about how to pray that is helping me on my wilderness journey. Jesus Christ prayed ALOT. So I highly recommend anyone to spend some time on this website, for there is alot about what God's Word has to say on the subject. Bon Appetite!
