The Ecclesiastes 3:7 quilt

I finished the Ecc 3:7 quilt yesterday. It was technically the first quilt top but it was finished 2nd, where the vacation quilt was the 2nd quilt top but finished first. I named it Ecc 3:7 because that verse is pretty profound for me since it was the Lord Himself that introduced me to quilting. All the materials for the top were once clothes I owned and wore and I had to take all those clothes apart first in order to use them in this quilt.

"A time to rend, and a time to sew; A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;"

The back was a cotton valance I bought at a garage sale for .75 cents. The front has all these seams and pocket marks so it is obvious these were clothes at one time. I slept with it last night and I must say, it is pretty comfy! I will probably keep this for myself because it has so many mistakes, but it is a 100% one of a kind hand-sewn quilt. I've already started another quilt. (A baby quilt this time, should be much faster to complete!) I like to work on it as I listen to various audio teachings.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for always being so awesome and for always meeting my needs. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
