My take? Become and embrace being a Luddite. Technology, for technology's sake is that black hole, that black mirror, the black well from which we may never escape. There is no moderation. This turning of society, of civilization can not end well for us.

That was a wowser! I'm a natural luddite. I'm a retard, use a flip phone and fedpoast online. I drive an '86 pick up with "patina" as the primary color scheme. I'm sure (((They))) know ALL about me. I'm pretty threatening being the geezer that I am, living in the sticks of Middle Tennessee.
OOH! OOH! Benton County, to my west, has had several confirmed sightings of Sabe (bigfoot) along the Tennessee river. Now THAT is note worthy. They're mostly nice folks, though for sure, they have their fair share of assholes. Anyway, have a nice day, I usually do.
Trying to get set up so I can see what checks have cleared and the balance,, and it's not fun at all. I've fixed copiers and cash registers and weird stuff I'd never seen before, but THIS? I Do naturally what few Can do, and feel like an idiot because I Don't Get the stuff Everybody Gets.. Still don't have a cell phone and starting to think that's gonna be okay..
