It is absolutely horrifying. Judgement is coming to this country, seek the Lord while he may be found.

Town Hall Meeting with Rep Wu

There was about 1000 people at the Town Hall meeting to meet with Congressman David Wu in McMinnville Oregon. They only let 126 in of course. Most people are very upset about everything congress is doing wrong these days, but especially this Obama Health care thing because it hasn't been passed yet and can still possibly be stopped. There was a Preliminary Injunction filed recently to fight the mandatory vaccinations, you can read about it here.

A new friend

The Lord is so amazing. I have had a hard couple of weeks and I have been praying and believing that I could somehow meet some strong (real) Christians to fellowship with. I know some who live near Mt. Hood but that is almost a two hour drive away from here, and I wanted someone close. So I happen to be reading the local paper and I see an ad called, "Overcomer's outreach." I was reminded of the verses,

"1Jo 2:13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him [that is] from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father."

and

1Jo 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

So I called the number and a woman answered who lives only a couple blocks away from where I am staying. We have gotten together to study God's Word and fellowship. It has been such a great blessing and answer to prayer. Thank you Lord!

From Babylon to Zion...

Joseph Herrin at the Parables blog has a great article today about Babylon.

I highly recommend getting more than one kind of browser. I just tried to go to the parables blog using Opera and a weird Google window came up saying,

"Google Sorry...

We're sorry...

... but your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now.
See Google Help for more information."

Weird it worked fine on Internet Explorer. Google is evil.

Thursday song...

Ewwww!!!

Who goes swimming with their watch on? Sheesh!

Thanks be to God...

The heat has lessened slightly, which is nice. I thank the Lord again for another day without calamities. There is some interesting things in the news. The Cash for Clunkers program is already out of money after only being up a week. Supposedly there is a Kenyan birth certificate located for Obama, etc. There is massive tension in the air these days, the judgement is still coming. Seek the Lord and repent.

I have alot of things going on right now, but most I can't post about because they are personal and shouldn't be posted on the net. But the Lord is always taking care of me and I thank Him for everything, especially the trials I go through that will bring about the peaceful fruits of righteousness.
