Thankfulness from Michael Boldea

Here is a wonderful little teaching on Thankfulness from Micheal Boldea. You can here more at his website Hand of Help Ministries

Please pray for this man

This is really so horrific. Eric Holder? is going to come out and say, "umm, yeah, it's not entrapment." Right. Like that man doesn't lie. This was a co-ordinated set-up by the FBI to keep the lie of "home-grown terrorism" alive.

Please pray for this poor fool kid. I mean, have you talked to an actual 19 year old lately? Once in a while you might get one that you can have an intelligent conversation with, but most of the time, 19 year olds are dumb as a rock. These FBI people know mind-control techniques and there is no way this kid could conceive of having a whole van full of explosives with out the FBI supplying it. Now they will throw the book at him to prove their point. Please pray for this boy to get saved and have the Lord's protection on him and that this court can prove that the real fault lies in the brain-washing FBI agents.

I'm far more scared that we have active FBI cells in my city plotting the destruction of christmas tree lightings with idiots than I am that there are any actual home-grown terrorists! This place is definately going crazy!

Dear merciful heavenly Father. Help this poor boy. That he can be saved and that you will watch out for him since he was so very obviously set up by our own government to be a patsy. Have mercy on him and his family. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We are the houses in Egypt

I was reading in Exodus today about the original passover when the children of Israel put the blood of the passover lamb on the lentils and doorposts. (Exodus 12) I was struck by the fact that now, in our day, we are the houses that are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ and the destroyer cannot touch us.

Oooo! I hate the devil. All day long he tries to tell me that I am not a child of God. That I should just get a job already and move out of my parents house. In obedience I wait here, knowing this truth:

Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Psalm 127:1

Where would I go to find a job, if the Lord has not given me the job? Where would I drive to if the Lord has not sent me? Where could I run to where the Lord would not be with me? No. I stay here and wait upon the Lord because this is the provision that He has provided.

The way is straight and the gate is narrow. The cross is what is expected of us to get every last bit of Egypt out and the hope of glory Christ with in. There is no going back to drinking beer and smoking cigarettes and playing video games. That life is gone now, it is vanity and empty wasting of time, marking down the days till death activities. Crazy black friday shopping sales and HDTV. So much meaningless conversation. No one wants to talk about the Lord, or His Word, they definately don't want to talk about sin and the cross. Thank God, I know I have fellow brethren out here in cyberspace that feel the same way during the holidays.

Get thee behind me Satan, I am not going back to the old life and the old loves.

Thank you so much Lord for your promises that we can hold onto and resist the devil so that he will flee from us. Thank you that nothing can pluck me out of your hand. Thank you for being in me, for your Holy Spirit, for the blood of Jesus that covers us and justifies us and sanctifies us from this low down dirty world. In the name and authority of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The finger of God

When Pharoah's magicians could no longer counterfeit the plagues the Lord was sending on Egypt they exclaimed, "This is the finger of God (Elohim)!" The magicians could not duplicate the plague of lice using devil spirit power, like they had before with the blood and the frogs. (Ex 8:19)

The original stone tables of testimony given to Moses at Mt. Sinai were written with the finger of God. (Ex 31:18, Deu 9:10)

David the Psalmist wrote about the fingers of God when he said, "When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained" (Psalms 8:3)

Jesus also said he used the finger of God to cast out demons. (Luke 11:20)

The finger of God represents God's amazing power. God can send plagues, put the stars in their orbits, cast out demons, whatever He wants because nothing is impossible for Him. God has more power in his little finger than the adversary can even dream about! With His one finger, he could squish the devil like a bug.

Dear Heavenly Father, You are so wonderful and awesome. Thank you for your Word that we may know about your amazing power and might and mercy and truth. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Day After...

I was going to have a post for Thanksgiving yesterday, but I got in too late and did not have time. I have so many things I am thankful for, and I always want to give God Almighty the glory for the many blessings in my life.

I am especially thankful that I am in a warm bed these days and not sleeping in my van since it has been in the low 20's here lately. In the dark yesterday, coming back from the farm, I praised the Lord for the food and the protection and for opening my eyes to the things going on around me. I said, "Lord, I am so thankful for this wilderness journey you have called me to. But I wonder, I do not have a specific vision that you have given me. I need a purpose in my life." The Lord answered me and said, "It's a surprise."

When I think of that I think of someone leading me into a room with their hands over my eyes, and that soon, they will take off their hands and yell "surprise!". In those situations the anticipation is that good things will happen when you open your eyes again. I believe that is why I do not know what the Lord's specific plan for my life is. Part of the idea is to trust the Lord for every provision.

Recently I wrote a list of my needs to the Father. I told the Lord that I needed new sneakers because my old ones developed a hole in the heel that had a hard piece of plastic sticking out and rubbing on my heel and giving me a blister. I also needed some "walking around money" since I only had .80 cents. The next day someone gave me $15 and my dad took me to the store and bought me a brand-new pair of Nike's because he wouldnt hear of me having some cheap pair from Target. I really felt that was 'abundantly above what I could ask or think' on that. Thank you Lord!

I was reading in Exodus and two specific verses jumped out at me:
Exodus 3:6, "Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God."

Exodus 4:2-3, "And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it."
Twice Moses was afraid in these verses. Yet we know that Moses later did many brave things and went to see God face to face and was not afraid. The wilderness and the experiences with the plagues of Egypt changed Moses into a mature believer who truly trusted God to not be afraid of God, or serpents!

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for all provisions, for food in abundance, for warm beds and surprises. Thank you for having a plan for my life and for always being with me. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Yesterday's blogpost

Awww, no one tried to decipher yesterday's blogpost. It said, "This message is in code because I am reading the book Code-Breaking by Rudolf Kippenhahn. Hope you had fun!" Anyway, I thought about it just now and thought, wow! I hope no-one thinks I am putting a spell on here! Just reading about the encryption done through history and WWII. Very interesting.

Here is some very inspired posts around the web that I recommend reading:
