Fire the News Writers
The news has been totally lame all week. I mean, seriously. Cocaine was found in the White House? Duh! There has probably always been cocaine at the White House. You don't think Clinton may have snorted a line or two back in the day? W? I'm sure Obama did, when he wasn't ordering pizza and hot dogs to be delivered. Most likely it wasn't Trump. I hear he never touches the stuff. So why this week is it such a hot topic? Shall we all point the finger at Hunter? Does Hunter even actually exist as a real person? Asking for a friend.
Then there is the alleged cage match
between Musk and Zuckerberg. Give me a break! Like that will ever
happen. Maybe we can have AI draw us a picture? Yeah, that's the
ticket. Is this even news?
I could write better fake news
stories without even trying.
Ukraine is losing! No wait, they are winning! Ah crap, I guess they are losing again. Putin has cancer. Putin is a good guy who will save us all. Putin is literally Hitler. Zelensky is a good guy. I guess the traitor Pence went to see him and shake his hand and let the whole world know where his loyalties lie. Zelensky can play the piano with his penis, when he's not using it for other things that we don't want to know about. Probably with Pence.
In other news – I got paid again and could still take cash out of the ATM and buy food. That is good. So all in all – we are still here and not a gaping, smoking crater. I'm thinking we will make it through the weekend safely. Hope you all are well, see you on Sunday.
Take care out there.

I am Not a Robot
I heard in a recent podcast that if you click the box that says, “I am not a robot” you are actually giving permission to have all your browsing history researched. It was an interview with Ole Demmagard (I dont know how it is spelled) but I do not have a link now. So going forward, as much as is possible, I'm not checking the box.
I had a wonderful day yesterday. I got a lot of things done and made cabbage rolls for the first time in my life. They turned out very tasty with lots of leftovers.
Back to work, but it is a short week so should go fast. Hope everyone is well. Take care out there.

Independence Day Eve
Well, we made it to another
Independence Day. I wrote about it last year in this post. Can you
feel all that freedom dripping in the air this year? Yeah, me
neither.
I'm having a hard time posting lately. I have a file
on my computer called, 'stuff to post' that has all sorts of links to
various stories, but when I finally get a chance to write about it –
the story is old and there are new fresh horrors to write about.
Even if I find the extra time to do any research, it is
almost impossible with the way they have limited our individual
access to the internet. I'm not even talking about out right
censorship. I'm talking about trying to use various search engines to
find information about anything.
For example, Google, who have long
since left their, “Don't Be Evil” slogan behind in order to fully
embrace the dark side, has eliminated the list of pages at the
bottom. They know we have caught on to their first five pages of
links being corporate sponsored. You use to be able to go straight to
page 14 of the search to find other relative info. Now they just want
you to keep scrolling and pushing the 'more results' button. So what?
I'm supposed to just keep scrolling and pushing that button to go
through 83,300,000 results?
Duck Duck Go is way worse. If you
type in something innocent like “sausage potato casserole” it
gives you 60 entries then it just stops and you can't get more than
that. The results just end. Hope you find what you are looking for in
that limited amount.
Even researching something for Sunday
Music is getting hard. They keep wanting to give me choices within my
“preferences”. I want to see videos outside my preferences. I
want to look for something different I might like. Nope. Access
Denied. I've started clicking on music links on other people's
websites in the hopes I can find something that is usually outside my
wheel house.
It reminds me of an episode of Star Trek: The
Next Generation where Dr. Crusher was on the Enterprise and people
started to disappear. After awhile, she found herself on the bridge, alone, and she was the only thing that existed in the entire
universe. Our individual universes are starting to collapse. Soon you
will have only 30 search results, then 10, then 2. You have a choice
– this sausage potato casserole recipe or that one. Both sponsored
by Taco Bell ala Demolition Man.
So Independence? It is gone.
The slow contracting of our individual prison cells is almost
complete. (Just in case - If you find a sausage potato casserole you like, write it
down. It might not be there the next time you search.)
Take
care out there.

Sunday Music: Summertime
Summertime just isn't complete without Bob Seger playing in the background. Turn up the volume to a respectable level. Enjoy.
