This song is from extexanwannabe's Thursday post. He has impeccable taste in music. Enjoy!

I'm old enough to have been listening to the Doors on the radio in high school(late 60's). That song got about 0 play time. They ran L.A. Woman to death, So. Cal. by the way.
Where's the obligatory mention of Jimmy Buffett?

unlike some people - I actually liked the song margaritaville. But other people are doing Jimmy tributes - so I didn't feel the need. Plus I picked this song on Thursday when extexanwannabe posted it.

Doors, a very good modern Blues band, always good vocals and their guitar rifts are the bomb! Jim's voice could be considered an fine tune musical instrument. Too bad he couldn't get the monkey to stay off his back.

Jimmy Buffet, really? I am glad Wendy didn't post a tribute, I didn't either. A mediocre singer at best. A terrible lyricist. Obvious not my taste in music, means more records and CDs for you Mike...

Yeah, Buffett, found out all kinds of shit about him since he died. Might have made it to the demonic, sacrificial activities league, probably died from the clot shot, paid the piper for his success. Still, there are several songs that sounded good and accompanied great memories, but he had a ton of lousy to unremarkable songs. I never followed his life, so there's much I don't know about him. What I do know is he had some awesome planes that he flew.
My musical preferences are from the middle 60's to the 70's, though there's plenty of good music afterword.
Have you listened to Lunatic Fringe lately? Spooky.
