Extortion 101

Extortion is a crime in which one person attempts to force another person to do something against his will. Extortion is used to force the victim to give property or money to the perpetrator, or to take some action, such as giving someone a promotion, or voting for something.

I was going to write about the farce that just passed in the Senate double-speak named the “inflation reduction bill”.

Luckily – other people beat me to it:

Dissident Thoughts: The Squeeze Is Coming

The Small Hold: 87,000 New IRS Cops?

What people don't remember or are not aware of – paying your taxes is voluntary and always has been. Here is an excerpt from Turbo Tax

“Failure to comply

Although the U.S. tax system is voluntary, failure to comply carries stiff penalties. If you under-report your income or overstate your deductions, you'll face fines and interest charges. If you fail to file a tax return, the IRS will file a substitute return based only on the information it has—meaning you likely won't receive the benefit of any deductions and will end up paying more tax than you should. The IRS also has the power to levy your bank accounts, garnish your wages and place a lien on your property if you don't voluntarily pay what you owe. In serious cases, you may even face criminal charges.”

Once you have signed your tax return, on the other hand – now it is a legally binding contract. It still all boils down to compliance. So it's voluntary but if don't comply we will mess you up in a myriad of ways. And now that they have tied climate change, your health and your digital asset management all together the IRS can now going around breaking knee caps for non-compliance.

It makes you wonder what they have planned in the future. The real question is – when they hire all these new IRS agents – will they be hired for their ability to audit a tax form or for their small arms marksmanship? I guess we may know soon enough.

Take care out there.

Well - the official narrative is that he was incarcerated for tax evasion and died in prison. I don't know the answer to that question.

but yes - it is voluntary and always has been. And they know it.

Your assessment is probably right on the money. steal everything that isn't nailed down. but they don't even have to raise the taxes. They can just use eminent domain and take it. They don't even have to have a valid reason these days - thieves that they are.

JL - Unfortunately for us - most people will not wake up. I have personally tried to wake up the people i know, to no avail. You are right - as we saw the last 3 years - they will continue to comply. Even though the destruction of our countries is right in their faces and the 'reasons' get more and more ridiculous. And with ALL the information coming out they are still lining up for more shots and taking their children with them. It is horrifying to watch.

Cederq - LOL

Get self employed, use cash only, stay below the radar, become the outlaw and stop pretending you're a citizen.

When you play by the criminals rules you always lose.
