None Dare Call it Squaw

 

Our new Biden Administration pick for US Department of the Interior Secretary, Deb Haaland, has been busy doing very important work. Removing the racist and derogatory name “squaw” where-ever it may be found:

How's that for using our hard earned tax dollars for repairing infrastructure with everything else going on in this country?

Give me a break.

Let's take a closer look at Ms. Haaland, shall we?

Deb Haaland, (who is the 1^st Native American to hold such a high office), stated during her confirmation hearing that she remembers

“carrying buckets of water for her grandmother down a dusty road at Laguna Pueblo, where she’s from, careful not to spill a drop because she recognized its importance. She talked about harvesting an oryx, a type of antelope, that fed her family for a year, about her support for protecting grizzly bears indefinitely and her ancestors’ sacrifices”

But her official bio says that she came from a military family, whose father was a 30 year veteran of the Marines and her mother was in the Navy (both unnamed). Sounds like an “asset” to me.

Deb recently married her long time partner, (who happens to be a millionaire).

Her daughter, Somah, is an actress with 3 feature films under her belt. While not a tranny herself, she is an outspoken “transactivist” who prefers the pronouns “they/them”.
