Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. Getting together with family, eating good food, being thankful for all the Lord's many blessings. This year, however, is also the one year anniversary of my mom passing away. Hence the bittersweet of it all.
I'm going to take the rest of the week off for shopping and cooking etc. I hope you all have a happy Thanksgiving and don't forget to undo the top button of your pants. Lol.
Anyway, here is some reading for you while I am gone:

Bountiful Thanksgiving, or as I like to call it: L-tryptophan coma holiday…
have a happy thanksgiving cederq!
Thanks for the links, Miss Wendyworn. Have you considered that many of your readers could do without the food porn? I’m not a US resident anyway, so no Thanksgiving for me, and I’m single so forced to eat my own cooking (not that I’m skinny for it).
I don’t think that Cederq needs any encouragement to raid the table!
Lol! You're just jealous Johno...
Yes, too true, Wendyworn, I’d love to sit down to a real meal like that, but I’m too skint and too crook to do it anyway. Too bad. I hope that you and your readers enjoy your holiday.
Thank you!
Im'ma thunking the Johno is a little taken with you...
I have that effect on people. Lol!
Did you survive your Cornish game hen coma?
I did. We have been eating the leftovers. They make nice little sandwiches. Did you survive your coma?
I didn't have a coma... I had a PB&J sammich and a bowl of soup... not much chance of falling headlong into the vegetative state.
nope - I guess not
